Dr. Farshad Farhoumand was born in Tehran, Iran. He grew up in Ethiopia, where he attended Italian and American schools. After going to college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Farhoumand graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1976. He is an active member of the prestigious Seattle Study Club®, a leading institute for the advancement of dentistry.

Dr. Farshad is certified in placing dental implants, and he has placed several hundreds of successful implants throughout his career. Not just that, he is available to treat all types of dental concerns, from aesthetic treatments to reconstructive dental procedures. He was selected as one of America’s Top Dentists of 2013 and won the Best of Vienna 2012 Award in General & Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Farhoumand is recognized among the Top Dentists in Northern Virginia area and appears as a guest expert on the TOP Doctors medical interviews, which can be seen on CNN, FOX News, Bravo and MSNBC.
In his over 35 years of practice, Dr. Farhoumand has continued his father’s legacy, who was also a dentist, by welcoming patients from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Fluent in many languages, including Farsi, Italian, French, Amharic and Spanish, his ability to communicate with his patients in their own language allows them to make informed decisions about their dental treatment. Dr. Farhoumand resides in Great Falls, Virginia, with his wife. He enjoys music, hiking and traveling.
