Dr. Farshad Farhoumand was born in Tehran, Iran. He grew up in Ethiopia, where he attended Italian and American schools. After going to college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Farhoumand graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1976. He is an active member of the prestigious Seattle Study Club®, a leading institute for the advancement of dentistry.

Dr. Farshad is certified in placing dental implants, and he has placed several hundreds of successful implants throughout his career. He was selected as one of America’s Top Dentists of 2013 and won the Best of Vienna 2012 Award in General & Cosmetic Dentistry. In his over 35 years of practice, Dr. Farhoumand has continued his father’s legacy, who was also a dentist, by welcoming patients from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Fluent in many languages, including Farsi, Italian, French, Amharic and Spanish, his ability to communicate with his patients in their own language allows them to make informed decisions about their dental treatment. Dr. Farhoumand resides in Great Falls, Virginia, with his wife. He enjoys music, hiking and traveling.
