My teeth are duller than they used to be. Is there anything that I can do to fix it?
After a careful evaluation from an Avanti professional, you may qualify to have your teeth professionally whitened or restored with one of our cosmetic options. As long as your teeth do not display any signs of decay or extended damage, we should be able to use our in-office teeth whitening process to lighten the look of your smile. Check out our cosmetic services for other options.
I’ve just lost a tooth! What can I do?
For patients who have lost a single tooth or who are searching for a permanent way to replace multiple missing teeth, it’s strongly recommended to consider having a dental implant placed. This method imitates an entire tooth from the top down to the root and provides a level of stability comparable to a real tooth. To learn more about this procedure, speak to a member of the Avanti team.
If I’ve broken a tooth, can you help?
Yes! Avanti Dental offers CEREC one-visit crown equipment. We can measure, create, and place a realistic-looking crown in one appointment! Just call us immediately after the accident and explain that you may need a CEREC one-visit crown. We should be able to fit you in for an appointment in the same day.
What Can I Expect At My First Appointment?
We begin treating all of our patients by providing a thorough dental and periodontal examination and taking necessary x-rays. The doctor presents a treatment plan specified to your dental needs, and we make sure to answer all of your questions. The Treatment Plan Coordinator will then see you to discuss your out-of-pocket expense, insurance information, & our financing options available to you.
Why Do I need to come in every 6 months?
Many conditions are detected and treated before they can become unpleasant, time-consuming, costly, and potentially dangerous problems. Studies show that patients who see their hygienist on a scheduled basis are more likely to have healthier bone and gums, and to keep their teeth for significantly longer. Our team of professionals like to see those in our care at least every six months for a periodontal maintenance and annual checkup. This allows us to maintain your oral health and keep up-to-date on your dental needs.
Where do I park my car?
Indoor parking is available inside the parking garage on the 5th level. Once you park, just walk directly into the building and you will see our clinic.
Can we refer our friends & family?
A referral is the biggest compliment you can give us, which is why we offer "The Gift of Health" to both our referrals and referrers. With this promotion, you and your referral both receive $25 credit towards future dental work.
My gums bleed when I brush. What does that mean?
Gingivitis and other forms of gum disease are present in almost three quarters of the American population, and it can lead to some pretty serious complications! As gum disease progresses, teeth can become loose and even fall out. Recent research has even shown an association between gum inflammation and cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and pre-term births. To keep your smile intact, gum disease must have the proper treatment to stop bone loss from progressing, and in some cases, even regenerate lost bone and tissue. Here at Avanti Dentistry, we recommend nonsurgical procedures to correct these problems whenever possible. Call us today to arrange your periodontal therapy appointment.
